Deborah, you did a great job as moderator! And there are still lots of reader who read print books and like to browse in bookstores. Hopefully they&#039;ll support the indies who support the authors and vice versa.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Hi, Nancy .... thanks for the nice sum of our panel on the fast-paced changes in the publishing world, and how all of us are trying to keep up. Joanne&#039;s question was a good one (and a difficult one): What&#039;s the bookseller&#039;s role going forward? I&#039;m not even sure I can say what the AUTHOR&#039;S role will be in the future, but my hope is that signings and events at bookstores will continue. I do think readers want that personal interaction -- whether with an informed bookseller who can recommend a book she loves, or with an author who comes to give a talk and sign a book.]]></description>
