Speaker Introduction

As a registered nurse, Nancy J. Cohen helped people with their physical aches and pains, but she longed to soothe their troubles in a different way. The siren call of storytelling lured her from nursing into the exciting world of fiction. Unable to wield a hair dryer or curling iron without causing herself bodily harm, Nancy created hairdresser Marla Shore as a stylist with a nose for crime and a knack for getting people to spill their secrets. So far she’s written 13 books in this popular mystery series that combines romance with mystery, humor, and suspense. When not busy writing, Nancy enjoys fine dining, cruising, theme parks, and outlet shopping, plus frequent visits to the salon in the name of research. Read more at NancyJCohen.com.
